Meet the Team at Code Wiz Rutherford

My name is Shipra Srivastava and I am the owner of Code Wiz Rutherford, NJ.

Code Wiz allows us to contribute to children’s lives and help shape them, allowing them to reach a better future! I am a Global QA Engineering Manager for a Financial Tech Company, with over 18 years of experience in managing teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and bug-free experiences to customers.

I have always been passionate about work and challenging myself to keep learning new skills to continuously grow and improve. Throughout my journey, I’ve had to learn various manual and automated tools to make sure I stay up to date with the latest technology in a constantly adapting and changing world. This is something that I deeply believe in and try to teach. New skills and technology shape our world daily and learning to learn is an amazing lifelong skill.

Being a mom, I sometimes found it difficult to keep my child engaged. I enrolled my daughter in various art and coding classes online during/or after school, but she would always quickly lose interest. My daughter is very creative and a natural at understanding and playing games. I found that she lost interest when she had to follow the rules and examples that these programs set. She wanted a chance to explore what she wanted to learn which led to us typically dropping out after a month or two.

That is where Code Wiz comes in. It’s unique in that children are free to explore their interests, learn at their own speed, and really engage with topics. This creates a more effective learning environment that keeps kids engaged, and helps them become passionate about coding and other skills, all while helping them retain more knowledge and have fun!
