What We Offer
From beginner coding classes to advanced robotics competitions, Code Wiz programs help kids explore technology, creativity, and problem-solving in a fun, structured environment. Students often begin with weekly classes, explore camps during school breaks, and participate in competitions or events as their skills grow. Our coding programs support students from ages 6 through high school.
Flexible Camp Options for Busy Families

Flexible scheduling allows students to attend one week or multiple weeks as they explore different technology topics.
FAQs About Coding Programs for Kids
Code Wiz offers a variety of hands-on coding and STEAM programs designed to make learning technology fun and engaging. Students can explore coding, robotics, game development, app creation, artificial intelligence, Minecraft, Roblox development, and more. Programs are available through weekly classes, camps, and special events, giving students multiple ways to learn and grow their skills.
Our programs are designed for kids and teens ages 6–17. We group students by both age and experience level to create an engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable, challenged, and supported as they build new skills.
No prior coding experience is needed. Many students start with little or no coding background. Our programs are designed to support beginners while also challenging more advanced students. Through our Explorer, Creator, and Innovator pathways, students can continue progressing as their skills and confidence grow.
Classes are ongoing weekly or biweekly sessions designed to help students build skills consistently over time through long-term projects and guided learning. Camps are shorter, immersive experiences that focus on specific themes, technologies, or projects in a fun, fast-paced environment. Both provide hands-on learning, creativity, and mentorship from experienced instructors.
Most Code Wiz locations offer flexible scheduling options with weekly classes available after school and on weekends. Camp schedules may vary seasonally throughout the year. Availability can differ by location, so we recommend contacting your local Code Wiz center for current schedules and program options.
Code Wiz offers four core learning pathways: Foundational Coding, Game Development, Physical Computing & Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence. Within each pathway, students progress through our Explorer, Creator, and Innovator levels based on their experience, confidence, and skill development.
Explorer programs focus on building foundational concepts through guided, hands-on learning.
Creator programs help students strengthen technical skills through more advanced projects, coding challenges, and creative problem-solving.
Innovator programs are designed for students ready for deeper programming concepts, larger independent projects, and advanced technologies.
Because students develop differently across subjects, they may be at different levels depending on the pathway. For example, a student could be an Innovator in Game Development while still exploring beginner concepts in Artificial Intelligence or Robotics. This flexible structure helps students continue progressing at a pace that feels both challenging and supportive.
