What Families Love About Code Wiz
Families choose Code Wiz for engaging classes, supportive coaches, and hands-on learning that builds real-life skills.
Where Technology Builds More Than Coding Skills
Learning technology is about much more than writing code. Technology is the medium through which kids develop the habits, mindsets, and skills they’ll need to thrive in the future — socially, academically, and professionally.
Through personalized learning pathways and dedicated coaches, students gain much more than technical knowledge. They build confidence, resilience, creativity, and the ability to think through complex problems.
Our programs are designed to help students grow in the following areas:
Students tackle challenges creatively, experimenting, debugging, and refining ideas until their solutions work.
Through partner coding and group projects, students practice collaboration, listening, and sharing ideas.
Students break complex problems into logical steps, recognize patterns, and think strategically while building real projects.
Students learn mistakes are part of the process, building persistence, adaptability, and confidence.
Presenting projects and mentoring peers helps students grow their confidence and leadership skills.
Flexible learning pathways encourage students to keep exploring technology as their interests grow.
Parent’s Questions, Answered
Everything families ask before starting at Code Wiz. Can’t find it here? Your local center is happy to help.
Kids can start learning coding concepts surprisingly early. Many children begin exploring logic, problem-solving, and basic programming skills as young as 6 or 7 years old through age-appropriate activities and games. At Code Wiz, our programs are designed to meet students where they are, whether they’re complete beginners or already building projects on their own.
Not at all. Many of our students are brand new to coding when they start. Code Wiz is designed to support students at every stage of their learning journey through our Explorer, Creator, and Innovator pathways, which help students build skills progressively as they grow in confidence and experience.
Our coaches guide students step-by-step and adapt sessions based on age, experience level, and learning style. Whether your child is trying coding for the first time or already building their own projects, we create a supportive environment where they can learn at their own pace while developing creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence with technology.
Sessions are hands-on and project-based. Students may build video games, create animations, design apps, explore robotics, or learn programming concepts through guided challenges and creative projects. Every session is designed to keep students engaged while developing real coding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Not quite. Code Wiz is designed to feel more creative, interactive, and personalized than a traditional classroom. Students learn in small groups with individualized guidance from coaches who encourage experimentation, collaboration, and creativity. Our goal is to make technology education exciting while helping students build real-world skills and confidence.
