Meet the Team

Every Code Wiz center is locally owned and operated by people who care deeply about their community. At Code Wiz Kirkland, our center is led by Poojan Bhattarai, who is passionate about helping students discover creativity, confidence, and future-ready skills through technology.

Hello families! We are Poojan Bhattarai and Sundar Poudel, the proud owners of Code Wiz Kirkland – and, more importantly, a local Kirkland family with two energetic, fun-loving boys! We absolutely love our vibrant Kirkland community and are thrilled to bring world-class STEAM education to our neighbors.

As a local husband-and-wife team, we bring a unique blend of passion, heart, and business expertise to Code Wiz.

Poojan Bhattarai (Owner & Center Director): With an MBA and a background as an ex-senior consultant at PwC, I bring a strong business and operational foundation to our center. As Center Director, I am fully hands-on- so I’m the familiar face you’ll see welcoming your kids at the front desk every day!

Sundar Poudel (Co-Owner): Sundar is a software engineer himself at MSFT, a steadfast backbone of our team, supporting our vision and operations behind the scenes.

Driven by Family & Passion for STEAM

The true soul behind why we opened Code Wiz is our LEGO fanatic son. Seeing his curiosity drive him to build, create, and explore made us realize how vital it is for kids to have a dedicated, vibrant space where they can flourish. Code Wiz was created to give young minds like him in Kirkland a fun, welcoming space where they can collaborate with like-minded peers, turn screen time into creation time, and have an absolute blast along the way! We believe coding, robotics, game design, physical computing are all powerful tools for building confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in kids – skills for life!

Whether your child is taking their first steps in block coding or building autonomous battle bots, we can’t wait to welcome your family to our community!

Code Wiz coaches don’t just teach coding — they guide students through challenges and encourage them to think creatively. This supportive environment helps kids feel comfortable exploring technology and sharing their ideas.
